mental illness/substance abuse, child abuse/neglect services, and

Mental Health
Mental Retardation of Tarrant County - Screening and Crisis Services:
Provides 24/7 crisis hotline; also screens for mental health services
for those who face the challenges of mental illness, mental retardation,
autism, addiction and early childhood developmental delays.
Department of
Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS): provides
programs and support for people with disabilities and families of
children with development delays.
Galaxy
Counseling Center: Its mission is to
promote healthy family relationships and reduce the incidence of child
abuse and family violence through a family-oriented approach to therapy.
Catholic
Charities of Dallas & Ft. Worth:
Since the late 1800's
and the early 1900's, the Catholic Charities of Dallas and Ft. Worth,
respectively, have put into action the Gospel mandate to feed the
hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the
naked, and care for the sick.
