college/university partnerships
The
PAL Program has produced some exciting partnerships with colleges and
universities in Texas. Following are some of the formal partnerships to
help former foster care youth:
Texas
A&M University at Commerce - unlimited number of $1000/year
scholarships for residential housing.
University
of Texas Pan American - up to six residential housing scholarships per
year.
University
of Texas at Arlington - 50% discount on residential housing.
Texas
State University in San Marcos, TX - a limited number of general
scholarships are available.
Western
Texas College in Snyder, TX - up to two general scholarships per year.
