College Board Scholarship Search - online tool to help you locate scholarships, internships, grants, and loans that match your education level, talents, and background.

 

College for Texans is a mega-resource that includes everything a Texan needs to know about preparing for, applying for or paying for college or technical school.

 

College Scholarships - a long list of corporations and organizations that offer tuition assistance for college.

 

Education & Training Voucher Program - Dept. of  Family & Protective Services provides postsecondary educational and training vouchers (ETV Program) to eligible youth who are in or aged out of foster care, or who are adopted from foster care after turning 16 years old.

 

FAFSA - Application for federal aid for students to continue their education.

 

Hispanic and Latino scholarships - information on scholarships for people of Hispanic and Latino heritage.

 

Orphan Foundation of America - The Orphan Foundation of America is committed to helping parentless teens make the difficult transition from foster care into independent adulthood.

 

Powerpoint presentation on paying for college - A step-by-step presentation on paying for college.

 

Sallie Mae Fund Scholarships - this charitable organization sponsored by student loan company Sallie Mae, will award more than $2.5 million in scholarships to help enroll students in college through its community-based initiative, Project Access.

 

Tuition Waiver: Youth who have been in foster or other residential care are exempt from paying tuition at state supported schools and colleges.
