CDM Works
CDM Works provides local businesses with quality employees from
the inner city who have been carefully prepared for entry into the
workplace.
Staff work directly with local businesses to design a program to
meet their employment needs. They also recruit and screen
appropriate candidates, provide job-specific training and
readiness and coordinate Employment Assistance to ensure retention
of candidates through the first six months of work.
A unique feature of CDM Works is
Employment Circle, a
personalized social service component which includes helping job
candidates focus, define and work toward career goals, overcome
barriers to employment, find a job and continue training to
advance to a career. Workplace and peer mentors are part of this.
