Family Gateway
 

Program Description:
The Annette G. Strauss Family Gateway Center houses as many as 30 families in a dormitory-style facility for up to 10 weeks. The Center is not a handout facility...to move in, a family must go through a screening process and demonstrate the potential and motivation to do what it takes to improve their lives. They are required to put in long hours in order to take advantage of the opportunities that we can provide.

Other important information:

When a family is admitted they receive:

• Housing, Clothing and Meals
• Day Care or Schooling for the Children
• Job Counseling for the Parent(s)
• Employment Assistance
• Self-Improvement Training
• Medical and Legal Aid
