HIV/AIDS, Water Safety, Medications, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - The HIV/AIDS class will include some tips on practical parenting of the child with HIV and universal precautions.

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - The Water Safety class will cover standards, policies and preventive measures related to drowning or near drowning.

8:30 pm - 10:00 pm - The psychotropic medication class will include information on different types of psychotropic medication and guidelines that should be followed when children in foster care are taking these medications.

10:00 am - 1:00 pm - The Partnership class will help define roles and responsibilities of staff and foster parents. Confidentiality, role boundaries and communication will all be discussed at length. This training is vital to anyone who participates on a child's "Treatment Team".
