Ansell Casey  Life Skills Assessment Training, 9 am - Noon

        Learn how to administer the Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment (ACLSA) and utilize the Life Skills Guidebook and Ready, Set Fly!  These are all important tools for youth, caregivers, practitioners, researchers and organizations that care about helping young people prepare for success.  It's an easy-to-use, web-based evaluation of youth independent living skills with a guide to simple, fun activities to help youth build the competencies they need to live successfully on their own.  Presented by Evy Kay Ritzen, certified to train ACLSA.

Youth in Care Cultural Awareness Training, 9:00 am - Noon

        Learn the culture of foster care to advance partnerships between youth/alumni and staff.  Angie Cross of Casey Family Programs presents an interactive workshop on understanding the experiences of youth in care.  She will give you a chance to walk in their shoes and show you how to include youth in the decisions that are being made for and about them - powerful and empowering strategy.
